Dior Aqua FahrenheitIn my quest to find the perfect Aquatic scent, I got my hands on Dior Aqua Fahrenheit. This is a flanker of the classic Brett Favre of the Fragrance Community “Fahrenheit”. I couldn’t wait until this package arrived at my door! (I just posted a review on the classic Dior Fahrenheit go check it out.) This gem is supposed to be discontinued so I wanted to make sure to get a hold of it before prices go up the roof. Ready set let’s go! The Dior Aqua Fahrenheit bottle design is pretty much identical to the original “Fahrenheit”, which isn’t a bad thing. The main difference is the color transition. The sprayer on Aqua Fahrenheit is just like it’s Daddy GREAT, man this really sprays a mist of juice on your skin and doesn’t disappoint. Keep up the great bottles Dior! Top Notes: Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange Middle Notes: Violet, Basil and Mint Base Notes: Vetiver and Leather Aqua Fahrenheit was created in 2011 by perfumer Francois Demachy. When I first spray Aqua Fahrenheit, I get a strong yet smooth blast of Grapefruit. This is a semi synthetic Grapefruit, but done very well. For the first 30 minutes the Grapefruit and Violet really shine. Once it starts to dry down, the party really starts and the guests of honor are, Violet Leaf, Basil, and we can’t forget the grandfather “Fahrenheit” Leather hiding in the background. Man I really love the dry down on Aqua Fahrenheit, after wearing this scent more and more, I can see the fire and water theme Dior was going for. Overall I really enjoy this fragrance, a unique take at an aquatic fragrance by Dior. Well done flanker Mr Dior Aqua Fahrenheit reminds me what my teachers would tell me in middle school ” Son you’re not stupid, you’re just lazy”. For the first two hours and when the heat is on and temperatures are rising Aqua Fahrenheit get’s average to above average projection. But sadly I don’t get great projection consistently from this beautiful fragrance. I usually will apply about 4 sprays, I could apply more to help with projection but I hate being that “Cologne” guy. Overall I say Aqua Fahrenheit gets average to slightly above average projection, which for an aquatic isn’t too bad. Aqua Fahrenheit really does a great job in Longevity. Unlike passing with C’s in projection, Aqua gets an A for how long it last on my skin. I get a solid 10-12 hours, mainly a skin scent at the end of its run. I still get traces of Aqua Fahrenheit saying “yes, I am still here”. Season: Summer/Spring Age Group:18 and up This is definitely a Summer/Spring scent. My Overall FeedbackDior Aqua Fahrenheit is a really nice scent. I really like the way Dior decided to put its spin on a timeless classic. Sadly they have decided to discontinue this gem. Aqua Fahrenheit so far, it's on my 2016 Fantasy Summer Fragrance team starting at QB until a newcomer takes it place. Brooklyn's FeedbackWhen I first smell Aqua Fahrenheit, I get a really strong citrus/basil vibe. It’s a little strong at first, but after about 15 minutes, the dry down is really nice and the leather starts to shine through. I could totally see this as a wedding fragrance. Especially being that it’s a spring/summer scent. Love, Love, Love the basil in this!! So refreshing! Overall, I give this an 8. Very, very nice. ScentLion Review ScaleEver since I was young, I have always loved to smell great. Cologne head all the way. Now that I am older I still love going to the mall or local shops to smell the latest fragrances. Always looking to make my collection of scents larger :) XavierOur Favorite Video Reviews of Dior Aqua Fahrenheit |
